Event Announcement: We are proud to announce that the first ever official NUCA MMA event will be hosted at "The Venue" at the University of Central Florida on February 28th, 2020.
The scheduling of this showcase event suggests a potential mouthwatering showdown with MMA clubs from universities such as Ohio University, University of Pittsburgh, Western Illinois University, Arizona State, Grand Canyon University, Northern Arizona University and Michigan State University all competing in this event.
At the forefront of the NUCA MMA team is internationally acclaimed MMA coach; Owen Roddy. Coach Roddy commands great respect in the MMA community not only for having been a gifted competitor himself, but more recently for being an integral part of Conor McGregor becoming a two time UFC Champion. Fans and students alike will experience college MMA for the first time within college campuses. You can expect professional production combined with the fighting spirit of college athletes competing against each other to represent their university club team. They will give their best all in the name of college pride.
